I'd like to apologize. It is not my intent to taint the good name of the Kiss.
If you wish to remove me from the guild please do so now, as I do not forsee the situation improving for quite some time. I won't take it badly, and would love to continue being involved in some way.
I just refuse to let him get away with his behavior, and will not stand idly by waiting for someone else to do something about it.

I don't plan on removing you from the guild over forum stuff just yet, but I have to ask; have you done anything else lately in regards to him, or do you plan to?

Other than today? No, and I've never seen him in game either.
And after bible study I've thought about this. I'm taking a break from posting on the forums. I'll still read, but I'm just getting to wound up lately.

Good man. I've had to do the same myself, sometimes. It's not worth it to devote that much time to people we can't stand, and more importantly, won't change.

Darshk is Teeineius right?
I have to give him some credit. I logged in for about five minutes and he was right on me warning me of the path I was headed down. Normally I just think of him as one of the usual trolls, but I think he might be a little bit better than the others. Perhaps some part of him is redeemable, or still good.
What are your thoughts on the matter?

Only person I have a problem with from the forums is Vesp (Poundspasia) who you already fight with. I know Ish and some other people in the KotB community can't stand him. He's a jerk. He's not without his redeeming factors but I find him...not someone I normally want to associate with. Which is a shame, because if he wasn't so vicious on the forums, and argumentative elsewhere, he'd probably be pretty cool.
Besides that, I'd only have a real problem with Siggy. I'd encourage you to not bother with him like Ish suggested. I think most of us recognize that the MG forums can be quite lame.

Darshk? Oh, he's a wretch. I can't stand the manchild. He has no sense of honesty, honor, or integrity, is pretentious, and took a gigantic crap on the name of honorable soldiers and the military tradition; and a good chunk of my family in doing that. No, he is only as "redeemable" as he is silent. For as soon as he missteps, instead of acknowledging and apologizing, he finds some way to try and make you out to be wrong, a horrible person, or as a last resort, blame it on an altered state of consciousness. Memory lapse, alcohol, an unnamed mental disorder that somehow dulls his ability to separate reality and fiction; I may dislike them both for different reasons, but I think I could tolerate or even enjoy Vesp's company in ways that never could be true for Little Teenis.

Next question. Your feelings on the Vrok'Jmir. Do you feel sufficently strongly about Gorvhat's statements, story subjects, and the guild practices as written that you would reccomend my leaving it.
Because I'm not always the most attentive, or perceptive, person and would really prefer not to be making a mistake I'll regret(or suffer serious consequences for).

Concerning Vesp, he's playing nice, don't worry. Just said Gorvhat deleted the story I was talking about. As for you staying with the Vanguard? Do what you want. I don't have any say on what you do A-side. I don't like Gorvhat or his guild idea, but that's just me. Vikings rock, but the premise is all wrong. As is the execution.

Mostly I just don't like the idea of ditching him. Doesn't seem nice. And while Vikings certainly weren't nice, I agree that he's executing it poorly.
I think, considering my already tarnished Forum rep, it would be best if I tried to distance myself from the Vroks. I'd really prefer not to get dragged down any further. I'll try and extract myself quietly.
Oh, and I'm dying to tell Vesp he's an ass. Having taken a week or so off now, it seems like either he's getting more annoying/rude or I'm just noticing it more. And he keeps making these little quips that, while never mentioning me, seem directly targeted at me and my style of communication. And he's got all his yes-man cronies surrounding him so he can say things like 'everyone in the thread agreed'. I've got him on ignore now, but it still leaves the header.

If the best he can get you on is grammar, you really haven't got much to worry about. As it stands, yes, distancing yourself from the Vroks is probably for the best. I don't see anyone else rushing to join them, and I've... pretty much never, been pleased with anything I saw from Gorvhat. Just let it slide, and focus on your own interests instead of stopping to care about Vesp's. He is an ass, but telling him so likely won't help you at all. There's a proverb I can't seem to find, but it said something to the affect of "when mocked as a fool, a wise man keeps his mouth shut. A fool, however, opens his mouth and proves it". Paraphrasing, but it applies. Staying out of the argument will probably do better for you (as does admitting you're wrong, like you did in the Vrok thread) than responding to their baiting. I wish I could be of more help, but... well, again, telling Vesp how you really feel is probably just what he wants to hear; and just what he means to use against you.

I actually did mean the spelling/grammar thread seriously. I think it would be a good rule to have.
And the proverb, It's in my search bar right now from last night. One of my friends posted a different version as his facebook status. 'it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt' -Abraham Lincoln. Do you believe in coincidence?

Damn, I seriously thought that was out of the Bible. I scanned Proverbs for about 5 or 10 minutes before giving up, but yep! That's the one.

I thought it was Confucius at first. Lincoln based it on Proverbs 17:28. ' Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.'

Aah. Actually, that reminds me. I picked up The Analects several years ago and never finished it. I ought to go through it again this summer, instead of spending it all on Lovecraft and 40K novels.
